Integrity & Compliance

Our Commitment

By acting with integrity, we earn the trust of our customers, shareholders, employees, suppliers, and the communities in which we live and work – those whose trust we must have to be successful.

The Ethics and Compliance Program provides a framework for fostering a culture of compliance and commitment to integrity throughout the company. Our compliance efforts are led by the Ethics & Compliance Office at our company headquarters, (608) 364-8800.

One key component of Regal’s Ethics and Compliance Program includes the Code of Business Conduct and Ethics. The Code provides an overview of the laws and policies that govern the activities of Regal and its companies, and reflects a commitment to protect those who seek advice, raise concerns or report misconduct. Our Code of Conduct helps guide our employees to abide by all applicable laws and regulations while conducting business around the world.

The Integrity Line – Our employees understand the importance of asking compliance-related questions and reporting potential issues of non-compliance. While employees are encouraged to report locally any potential issues of non-compliance, they also, where allowed by law, may report anonymously through the Integrity Line. The telephone lines and web portal are managed by a third party, available 24 hours a day, and may be accessed in multiple languages. The telephone numbers vary by location. Regal does not tolerate retaliation by management or co-workers against anyone who in good faith reports a concern.

Code of Business Conduct and Ethics

In every business decision, in every group, in every location worldwide Regal strives to conduct business ethically, honestly, and in full compliance with all laws and regulations. Regal’s Code of Business Conduct and Ethics sets the basic rules for employees and Board members and explains how our values should guide all of our decisions.

The Code is built around the recognition that everything we do in connection with our work at Regal will be, and should be, measured against the highest possible standards of ethical business conduct. This commitment to acting with integrity helps us hire great people, engineer and manufacture innovative products, and attract loyal customers.

Regal takes our business ethics, corporate governance and transparency of operations very seriously; these are foundations of our business.

Anti-Corruption Program

Regal’s long-standing commitment to doing business with integrity means avoiding corruption in any form and complying with the anti-corruption laws of every country in which we operate. We prohibit all forms of bribery and corruption in our business activities, no matter how small the amount of money or trivial the activity may seem. And, we expect the same of the third party business partners that represent us or provide services or products to us.

Our Global Anti-Corruption Program documents, including our Global Anti-Corruption and Third (3rd) Party Engagement Policies, may be viewed or downloaded in several languages.

Regal Integrity Line

The Integrity Line offers another way to report any improper or unethical behavior that could jeopardize the integrity of the company, is not consistent with company values or fails to comply with both the letter and spirit of applicable laws and regulations. This system is designed to provide employees, customers and business partners with an additional method to confidentially report any actual or suspected concerns, activities or events that may be inappropriate in nature, illegal or potentially harmful to Regal stakeholders. This may be done in a number of ways, and, where allowed by local law, may be done anonymously.

For employees, in general, the best way to report is to a direct supervisor or local manager because that person may be the most likely to resolve the concern. However, Regal recognizes that sometimes reporting locally is not comfortable or available to an individual with a concern. Therefore, Regal has the Integrity Line as well as a centralized email address to receive reports of potential misconduct, unethical behavior, non-compliant activities or violations of federal or state law from employees, customers and other business partners. The telephone lines and web portal are managed by a third party, available 24 hours a day, and may be accessed in multiple languages. After a matter is received, it is forwarded to the Company's personnel based on type, location and severity. We take all reports seriously. Regal does not tolerate retaliation by management or co-workers against anyone who in good faith reports a compliance concern.
